Magnesium Products

Provides extra magnesium for breeding and lactating cows and sheep at risk from grass staggers (hypomagnesaemia). Available in two forms:

– Molasses-based magnesium-rich liquid, for free-access supplementation.

– Soluble magnesium for adding to drinking water.

Both forms are equally effective in providing supplementary magnesium.

Tecmol Mag Pal

Highly palatable molasses-based liquid with added soluble magnesium to aid where there is a risk of grass staggers.

Can be offered free-access from ball/wheel lick feeders or poured onto the daily ration at a rate of 0.5 litre per cow per day, or 0.66 litre per 10 ewes* per day.

Rumag Aqua

Fast-acting, soluble magnesium supplement for addition to drinking water
to aid in the prevention of grass staggers.

Use from 2 weeks pre-turnout for 6-8 weeks at 0.33 litre per cow per day for best results. Also suitable for lactating ewes at 0.5 litre per 10 ewes* per day.

* Magnesium products should only be fed to ewes post lambing

Energy and Protein Liquids

To complement and improve the ration, these liquids offer a range of benefits to the livestock farmer:

A source of energy for stock in the form of readily available sugar.

Increased forage utilisation – improved forage digestion, making the most of grass and forage.

Increased feed intake – promotes feed intakes and improved performance.

Increased ration palatability – suppresses dust, binds home mix diets and masks less palatable feeds.

Improved rumen function – molasses sugar stimulates rumen bugs ensuring feed is digested effectively.

Contains added trace elements and vitamins.

Tecmol Energy

A high energy liquid based on molasses, syrups and natural protein for use with all types of forage where extra energy is required.

Offer free-access or add to rations at up to 2 litres per cow per day, or 2.5 litres per 10 ewes per day.

Tecmol Forage Friend

A high protein liquid based on molasses natural protein and urea for use with all types of forage where extra protein is required.

Provides a concentrated level of effective rumen degradable protein to improve utilisation of forage and roughage.

Add to rations at up to 2 litres per cow per day or 1 litre per 10 ewes per day. Introduce gradually into the ration.

Not recommended for free-access feeding to sheep.

Tecmol Mixer Mate

A natural protein liquid, which combines effective rumen degradable protein with sugar energy for improved rumen function and diet utilisation.

Use with poor quality grass silage and in home mixes to aid palatability and eliminate dust.

Offer free access or add to a home mix at up to 40 litres per tonne.

Tecmol Sheep Keeper

A combination of molasses, natural protein and urea for free access-feeding, or for adding to a home mix, or top dressing on forage.

Use at up to 0.3 litre per ewe per day pre-lambing or at tupping.

Not recommended for lambs under 10 weeks of age.

Tecmol Suckler Sensation (With Added Copper)

A high protein supplement based on our bonded slow-safe release urea.

For use in rations containing maize silage, fermented whole-crop, hay and straw.

Provides a concentrated level of effective rumen degradable protein to improve utilisation of forage and roughage.

Add to rations at up to 2 litres per cow per day. Introduce gradually into the ration.

DO NOT FEED TO SHEEP.

Tecmol Beef Buddy (With Added Copper)

A combination of molasses, natural protein and urea for use where extra protein and energy is required in cattle rations.

Offer free-access or add to rations at up to 2 litres per cow per day or 1 litre per day for youngstock.

Recommended addition rate to home mixes is 40 litres per tonne.
